First-party cookies

None. The site uses localStorage in some places to remember background preferences on your device, but this is stored in your browser and not sent to any server.

Third-party cookies

• YouTube — the embedded video on the Transmissions page is served by YouTube. If you play it, YouTube may set cookies to record viewing preferences. See Google's privacy and cookies policy.
• Mailchimp — if you submit the "Join the Signal" form, Mailchimp handles the submission and may set cookies in line with its own policy.
• Music platforms — clicking a Listen link takes you to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Bandcamp, or SoundCloud. Those services set their own cookies once you arrive.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking third-party cookies will not affect the site itself, but may break YouTube playback on the Transmissions page.
